Ai Movement-UM6P, officially recognized as the International Centre for Artificial Intelligence of Morocco, advances AI and data science across Morocco and Africa. Affiliated with UM6P, it serves as a hub for innovation, applied research, and capacity building, developing ethical and inclusive AI solutions to address societal and economic challenges.
In 2023, the center became the first UNESCO Category II Centre for AI in Africa, marking a major milestone in responsible AI governance and international collaboration. Through strategic partnerships and high-impact programs, it is positioning Morocco as a regional leader in artificial intelligence and sustainable innovation.
